Who is allowed to enter Films?
Anyone. It doesn't matter if you are a Student, Ametuer or Professional. We welcome anyone to submit their film projects for consideration. Please note that you need to have the rights to submit a film. No submissions will be accepted unless you own the rights to the film.

What are the Prizes?
There will be $500 Awarded to "Best Film", $250 Awarded to "Audience Favorite" and $250 will be Awarded for "Best Movie Trailer". The "Best Actor" performance award will have the opportunity to be in a movie with "Horror Movie Legend" Kane Hodder. Also all Nominees and Winners will receive a Certificate Award that will be signed by "Special Judge" Kane Hodder. Registration Your Film Above!

Also the Top 10 Films will be featured in the "Official" AdventureCon Event Program that is distributed to all of the events attendees. So, you will have the potential to have exposure to over 10,000 individuals at the event alone.

Who will be judging the contest?
We will have special celebrity judges that will include Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th), James Hampton (Longest Yard, Teen Wolf, & F-Troop) and Mary Deese (Harold & Kumar 2). We will also have a panel of industry insiders, horror fans and the audience will decide the fate of your film.

Will all the films play a the Film Festival?
No, only the TOP 10 Films will be viewed at the Award Ceremony on at 7:30pm on June 12, 2009 at the AdventureCon Horror Film Festival. However all of the films will be available to view on www.indiehorrornet.com/movies.

What kind of films can be submitted?
Any short Fanfilm, Horror or Scifi films that have a running time 10 minutes or less. Also we will take submissions for Movie Trailers whether they are for an actual feature film that you are releasing or just for a ficticious fan film. As long as it is entertaining submit it.

What content is allowed?
The main that we will enforce is no x-rated material. If the language is too extreme we may need to edit the sound for the public screening.

How much does it cost to enter?

What do I get for my entry fee?
You will get the chance to compete for prizes and have your films viewed by industry professionals. You will have the potential to have your film viewed by thousands of people.

How do I enter?

Do I have to present to WIN?
We would hope that you could attend the event. But, NO, you do not have to be present to win. Your prizes can be mailed to you..

Does the festival cover travel expenses?
NO, you are responsible for your own travel expenses to attend the festival as well as to the filming location if you win the opportunity to be in a film with Kane Hodder.

I can't attend how can I see the movies?
IndieHorrorNet.com will feature all of the entries online for viewing and voting. We will also have a special DVD for sale for $15 that will be available after the event featuring the Top 10 Films.
